It is October! The most beautiful month of all, no matter what side of the globe you are on.

I love October for so many reasons, and nature bursting into fall colors is probably my number one reason.

The cooler weather is a reminder that the year is drawing to an end, and Christmas is on its merry way. I am excited to see family again over the holiday season! We missed a year, but it feels like five!

Many people are looking forward to Halloween. Not me; it’s not my thing, and we will be going from fall to Christmas. My two favorites by far!

This time of year is also exciting if you are an avid television watcher. All the popular series have new seasons to watch, and I am a fan of Law & Order: SVU, Blue Bloods, The Black List, and Grey’s Anatomy.

Do you watch Call the Midwife on PBS? That is my absolute favorite, and it is back tomorrow (Sunday) night!!! Can you tell how excited I am?

Gosh, it sounds as if I spend all my time watching television! It’s not that bad, or maybe it’s worse. I multitask by working on my laptop while I sit in front of the TV. Not the best habit, I know.

I bought the most beautiful mirror on Facebook Marketplace this week. Above my fireplace mantle, there is this odd area that makes everything look teeny tiny. I found this gigantic mirror that was supposed to fix all my problems in life until I discovered that it is 2.5 inches TOO BIG!

My brain is working overtime because, one way or another, that mirror is going to hang over that fireplace! It might take a while, a month, a year, who knows, but I will find a way! Oh, if you were wondering, the mirror was $20, but I also scored a free side table and made a new friend! How’s that for a good deal?!

On the blog this week, I made chinoiserie pumpkins. That was such a fun project!

Well, that was a mouthful!

What Are We Reading This Week?

For me, orange is synonymous with fall. I always use orange accents somewhere, it feels right, but it also puzzles my husband because, for the rest of the year, I’m no fan of orange.
