Friends, it has been a week! It’s not an easy one by any stretch.

On the blog this week, I shared the story of my grandmother’s upholstery. That was a walk down memory lane for me!

In sad news, late Wednesday evening, my mother passed away. Many people have asked if I will travel to South Africa for the funeral. Sadly, not. With quarantine and so many people sick at the moment, travel is not an easy or safe undertaking.

This coming week, we will send our firstborn off to university and help her move into her dorm room. I am sad but also happy for her to start this new and exciting chapter of her life.

Life can be tough and beautiful at the same time. Let’s cherish each other and celebrate all that is beautiful.

I want to say a big thank you to YOU for sparing a few minutes of your precious time to hang out here with me. I see you. I appreciate you!
